State Department Statement (June 16, 2010): US welcome and laud Djibouti and Eritrea Peace Agreement brokered by Qatar:

U.S. welcomes and lauds Peace Agreement signed last week between President Isaias of Eritrea and President Gulleh of Djibouti “as an important step towards achieving renewed peace and stability in the region”. China, France, Russia, African Union, Arab League, European Union, Gulf Group Countries and UN have expressed similar support and solidarity to the Agreement last week.
