STSフォーラムへエリトリア教育大臣出席

エリトリア教育大臣SEMERE Russom氏は、日本政府の招待により、10月3日から5日まで京都で開かれている科学技術と人類の未来に関する国際フォーラム（STSフォーラム）に出席しています。

Semere大臣は2010年10月3日に同時に開催されている、内閣府主催の第二回日本アフリカ科学技術大臣会合に出席しました。この会合でのエリトリアのプレゼンテーションの主なテーマは、「国際的な科学技術協力にとってのエリトリアの海岸環境の重要性」でした。

“Eritrea’s coastal environment’s significance to international science and technology cooperation”

Semere大臣により駐日エリトリア国大使館に伝えられた情報のなかで、大臣はエリトリアにおいて1994年から2008年にかけて継続された自然保護のための学生および職員ら26万人が参加した継続的なキャンペーンに対して満足していることを表明しました。以下はキャンペーンによる成果になります。

Tokyo October 4, 2010: H.E.Mr. SEMERE Russom the Minister of Education of Eritrea participated, on the invitation extended from the Government of Japan, in the Science and Technology Forum held from October 3 – 5 October in Kyoto Japan.

The Minister also participated in the side line of this conference in the 2nd Japan Africa Science and Technology Ministers' meeting organized by the Cabinet office on October 3, 2010. The main theme of the participation of Eritrea in this meeting was “Eritrea’s coastal environment’s significance to international science and technology cooperation”.

In related information provided by the Minister to the Embassy of the State of Eritrea to Japan, the Minister expressed his satisfaction on the continued popular campaign accomplishment by student and staff, where 266,219 participated,
to improve the land cover of the country from 1994 to 2008.
